Warwick Academy is an inclusive school where pupils are engaged and keen to learn. They are motivated to succeed and the staff are on hand to support them on their learning journey. Our pupils are at the heart of every decision and we do our utmost to ensure they are happy and confident and that the opportunities provided are relevant to their needs both now and in the future.

What does leading a primary school mean to you?

My passion and drive for working in education comes from my experiences growing up and seeing the impact teachers and schools can have . My goal is to ensure every pupil, no matter their background, has an ‘outstanding’ education and is supported to overcome all barriers to reach their potential.

What is the one thing about Warwick Academy you wish more people could see or experience?

I wish more people could see our fantastic learning environments and how they are effectively used to support learning. Our Early Years areas are particularly impressive and engaging for the children.

What are you the most proud of achieving in your tenure as  Head of School at Warwick Academy?

The school recently achieved national awards in both Early Years and Inclusion. I am most proud, not just of the team for working hard to achieve these awards, but for the impression made on the assessors, with the school receiving the following feedback:

“What is highly apparent is the passion and dedication of the newly appointed Acting Head of School and the drive of the staff to make a positive difference. The staff I met at all levels were committed and passionate about meeting the needs and making a difference for every child.”

Here at Warwick our 5 core values are at the heart of everything we do:

Honesty, Kindness, Respect, Responsibility and Aspiration.

If we instill these in every child who attends Warwick, they will be ready to live in a modern Britain and this is something we can be proud of.
